hi man
try to read on the manual how to make this on the 303, is not that difficult, you have just to set the 303 in order to receive midi signals (it can only receive, anyway) from the dr202. i don't have the manual in front of me, but i remember that you have just to turn off the 303 and then keep pushin some button to have written in the screen like "auto" or "rem" etc and then change those parameters to better set the machine for you.

I know this is super old, but this took me a bit to figure out so I hope it helps somebody. 1. hold TIME/BPM while cutting on the 303 and turn it to 'oFF'. 2. Set your DR-202 EXT channel to whatever matches the SP-303 (in the manual). After that, you may not get any sound. Here's the money: What you need to do is hit KIT on your DR-202. You'll have OCTAVE=1 set anytime you power on the DR, so arrow over and put it on OCTAVE=2 and rock out
